Load cells are designed to convert the generated force during deformation of a rigid body into an electrical signal proportional to the load. Strain gauges provide weight measurement from 1 gram to 50 tons and operate in a wide temperature range. Electronic scales of almost all types, such as commercial and grocery, floor and platform scales, automobile and wagon scales, warehouse and crane scales use load cells in their work.
